Properties:
2-BENZOTHIAZOLYL-N-MORPHOLINOSULFIDE is light yellow grain with light bitter taste. Specific density is 1.65--1.72. Soluble in acetone, benzene, ethanol, methyl alcohol; insoluble in water.
Application:
2-BENZOTHIAZOLYL-N-MORPHOLINOSULFIDE is an excellent delayed accelerator. The performance is similar as CBS, but with better scorch safety. Widely applied in NR, IR, SBR, NBR and EPDM. Be applied alone or with other vulcanization accelerators such as thiurams, guanidines and dithiocarbamates to improve the activity. Mainly used in manufacture of tires, shoes and belts. Not recommended to apply in beverage and food containers be cause of the bitterness f the product.
